Directions
Put 301 Sir Walter Raleigh Street into your GPS or use Google Maps. When you arrive, you'll see that it's on the corner of Sir Walter and Lord Essex. Take a left onto Lord Essex. You'll be beside our house (a big white one with a picket fence). Pull down and turn your car around to face toward the flow of traffic and park on Lord Essex near the double screened doors you'll see. Your private porch is through those doors, and your room is upstairs to the right of the fireplace.
Rates
All rates vary by room and season. Rates are per night and are based on double occupancy.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy
We welcome children to the Sandpiper room, but please let us know in advance. The room can accommodate two kids/two adults.
Cameron House Next Door is a small historic property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. A one-night deposit or 50%, whichever is greater, is taken upon reservation. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 (ten) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. We do charge a $25 processing fee.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than ten (10) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
Check-in: 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
If arriving outside of check-in times, call us and we will happily make other arrangements.
Check-out: 11 a.m.
No Smoking.
We allow dogs in the Sandpiper room with advance arrangements.
